The same applies to Jagged Edge, which is a moniker completely unbefitting one of the smoothest groups in recent history.

Sometimes, you’ll come across an artist with a name that is really a complete misnomer The Tallest Man on Earth, for example, is really not even close to challenging for that title, whilst the members of Sonic Youth, were they British, would be pretty close to being eligible for a free bus pass by now. Pick a better venue, this concert did not do your fans any justice! We absolutely love JE and Tyrese for the artists they are, but PLEASE DO NOT RETURN TO BELLCO FOR ANOTHER SHOW. It was my wife's birthday and what should've been a romantic, memorable concert/event turned into what appeared to be a $5 hole in the wall event. Bellco should clearly issue a refund for this pisspoor managed event.

I could go on and on, needless to say we left way early. To top it off, when Tyrese FINALLY came on, security decided (simply because Tyrese said let his fans up is he in charge of the building now?) to let everyone rush the stage, I'm sorry, NO, THAT'S SIMPLY NOT OKAY, everyone on the lower front level seating paid premium $$$ for those seats and you're security (LOL) just let the ghettoness rush to the front because the artist said it's ok? Last I checked no artist is in charge of the building or it's security. Drinks are priced outrageous as well, you're paying VEGAS PRICES for what they call "premium liquor" well premium was AMSTERDAM, a $14 Vodka being sold at premium prices. My wife and I will NEVER ATTEND ANOTHER CONCERT AT BELLCO. 5-7 rows added later? These rows WE'RE SURELY not available for sale, so I don't know if these were in some sort of VIP package, or give aways, but it's nonsense and it clearly wasn't shown at time of purchase. It doesn't stop there I paid good money for FRONT ROW, ROW 1 SEATS only to have some "pit seating" to be added infront of us, I would not have spend the money for front (1st) row if I knew there'd be an addtl. PLEASE CONTINUE READING this is to BELLCO THEATRE: this had to have been the absolute worst venue/concert we have ever been to and trust me the feeling was mutual amongst dozens of people!!!! The sounds system was terrible to the point where 100s were covering their ears, even JE had to continuously ask the "sound man" to fix the mics, but it was way more than just the mics, the music was blared out of control and the left stage speakers sounded like they were blown. After all these years, they still sound great and I'm looking forward to their new releases coming up later this year. So I have to say, that my wife and I have been listening to JE for over 15 years and love their music, JE overall put on an amazing show and it was awesome to finally see them in person and hear some of our favs live. Finally they won two awards in 2001 at the Soul Train Awards for Best R&B/Soul Album by a Band, Duo or Group for singles, " J.E. They have also been nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for their single "Where the Party At" at the Grammy Awards.

Furthermore, they were nominated for Best Group and Best Male Group at the BET Awards. Jagged Edge have been nominated at the American Music Awards for Favorite R&B/Soul Band, Duo or Group three times. The talented twins, Brandon and Brian, have also written material for highly successful R&B artists Usher, Nivea and Toni Braxton.

Jagged Edge were could not believe their luck when the album went double platinum, with their hit single "Let's Get Married" reaching new heights in the R&B charts and impressively reaching number 11 in America's 'Hot 100' chart. "I Gotta Be", a single on the album, which was written together by the Casey twins, reached an impressive number 11 on the R&B charts in America.įurther success was achieved in 2000, making a breakthrough, when the stylish boy band released their album " J.E. Jagged Edge smashed their music career in 1997 releasing their single "The Way That You Talk" which they then followed successfully with the album. They all have nicknames however and prefer to be called by them, the creative four are-"Brasco" (Brian), "Case Dinero" (Brandon), "Quick" (Kyle) and "Wingo Dollars" (Richard). The R&B group consist of four guys, interestingly the lead singers are identical twins Brandon and Brian Casey, together with Kyle Norman and Richard Wingo.
